The Argentine Basketball National Team lost 79-75 against the Dominican Republic and was left out of the 2023 World Cup to be played in the Philippines, Indonesia and Japan.

The Albiceleste was defeated by the Central Americans on the last date of the qualifying round, despite having a 17-point lead at one moment.

But the Dominican team managed to turn that score around and ended up winning in a game played in the Argentine city of Mar del Plata.
