Argentine lithium exports set a new record in March, with sales of 91 million dollars.
This was reported by the Ministry of Mining, which explained that there was a year-on-year growth of almost 100% in the volumes exported.
So far this year, according to the same source, 233 million dollars have already been shipped.
Officials say that most of the shipments come from two mining complexes: Fénix in the province of Catamarca and Olaroz in the province of Jujuy.
These northern districts, in addition to Salta, are home to one of the world's largest lithium reserves, and Argentina continues to consolidate its position as a major supplier.
