The Pope sent a letter to the crew that carries out the 2023 Antarctic Campaign at the Argentine bases on the white continent.

Through a contact initiated by LRA36 Radio Nacional Arcángel San Gabriel, RAE's management and Lisandro Ruiz from RAE staff, the Pontiff sent a text written by himself that will be kept at the Antarctic Museum located at the Joint Antarctic Command in Buenos Aires City.

Copies of the letter will be sent to each of the Argentine Antarctic Bases.

Mr. Lisandro Ruiz.

"I feel very close to our brothers and sisters in Antarctica, specially to the children who will take their first communion there. I pray for you. Please do the same for me. May Jesus bless you and the Virgin protect you. Fraternally yours, Francis".
