Lionel Scaloni, coach of the Argentine National Team, will renew his contract until the 2026 World Cup.

This was announced by sports channel TyC, which detailed that the coach will be signed at the beginning of March.

Since his appointment in 2018, Scaloni won three titles with the Albiceleste: the Copa América, the Finalissima and the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

His first commitment after renewing his contract will be a friendly match at the end of March in Buenos Aires, against the Panama National Team.

The match was organized for Lionel Messi's team to celebrate with their supporters the winning of Argentina's third World Cup.
